A Holly Jolly Christmas Card

Hiya everyone and Merry Christmas! Here is the 2009 Secora Family (plus Tobi) Christmas card this year. I decided to go with the claymation 1964 classic 'Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer' theme. Conner's caricature as the 'Tall elf' particularly amuses me. ha!

'Holy Update, Batman!'

Yeah, yeah, its been a few months since I've updated . . . but its been a busy semester! Anyways, I'm going to be a lot better about it, and to start off some of my updates here is some caricatures of 'Batman'. This is a double page spread layout for a collaborative typography book project created in my typography class. We took excerpts form Lorenzo Sempleton Jr.'s script for the 1966 'Batman' film (probably the best movie ever created by humans) and made a cohesive artist book into it. Enjoooy!

I found Susan Boyle's caricature pretty amusing, so I decided just to quickly colorize it in Photoshop.

Bored at work, I went through some old magazines and just practiced some caricatures of celebrities, in ball point pen. I forget who some of them are...but see if you can guess who they are anyways!
